A self-taught gunsmith has been arrested and charged with illegally manufacturing firearms and selling them on Facebook. They found several home-made guns and small pen guns, many rounds of ammunition and equipment used for making firearms inside the house. A woman, Natthaporn Kritniyom, 34, was arrested and 143 methamphetamine pills and two guns were seized from her. Authorities extended the investigation and learned the seized guns were purchased from Mr Thotsaphon via his Facebook page, “Khunphol Samrongnueng’’, for 13,000 baht each. Prices for his home-made guns were 7,000-15,000 baht each, and they were sent by postal services to clients.
